I've always tried to support them with my business. Especially since their staff is very helpful and moderately knowledgable, but I can't give more than 2 stars after today. It's pretty understood that with a small local shop, you will pay a little extra over the big box stores, and I don't usually have a problem with that. Searched their online store for a product before I made the drive and saw that they carried it. When I got there I noticed they had it marked up from their own website. Online price, $31.49....in store price, $41.99....big box store price, $24.99. I asked if they would honor their own online price and I was told "No." I was fully willing to pay the extra $6.50 over the box store price, but come on! A $17 dollar mark up on a $25 box store product is hard to swallow, but a $10.50 mark up from your own online price that you won't honor is unacceptable! As a side note, this product was not "on sale" at online, or in either store. Those are just the regular posted prices. Disappointing since they are the last local hardware store. Sorry, I can't support that kind of local business practice.....
It's very expensive to buy here I wouldn't recommend it I rather go to homedepot ., Sheetrock, joint compound , it went up here like 5 or 6 dollars more .
I stopped here Friday afternoon need a new weed eater do to hurricane Harvey flooding... asked for help a the MANAGER come tells me the price then leave me, walks off... I wait a few mins and then ask for help again, no one comes... this weed eater was 239.99... I left as I'm not going to be to buy a weed eater... Home Depot was 199. Same exact model... Thanks but No thanks Fishers, guess you guys are making too much money
