The cashiers range from indifferent to rude - they're usually too busy babbling at each other (or the random truck drivers that loiter and block the register) to bother to ring you up - or check the expiration dates on the food they sell. I've seen a number of expired items on the shelves, including month old chocolate milk.
Bottom line, every time I walk out of this place, I swear never to return. The only reason I keep going back is that they are the only convenient location that is on my route to work. But as for pricing and service, I hate them with all the heat of thousand fiery suns.
If I could give this place negative stars, I would. I only gave it one star because Google won't let me give it zero.
Every time I walk out of this store, I feel practically violated, as everything in there that I've ever bought has been wildly over-priced. I used to manage a store, so I totally get the concept of a higher markup for a convenience-type store, but these people are just greedy. Once, they charged me $2.99 for a single generic packet of hot cocoa -- when you can buy a box of 6 (or is it 8?) for $1.99 or less in any grocery store.
